Football season is nearly here, and the surest sign is SEC Media Days kicking off in Tampa. For Georgia fans wondering when to tune in, here’s the rundown.

Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are up on Tuesday, July 21 — Day 2 of the four-day event. Georgia headlines that Tuesday slate as the back-to-back SEC champions, with Smart taking the podium to field questions on everything from the quarterback room to the Dawgs’ national-title push.

He won’t be alone. Georgia is bringing three seniors along: quarterback Gunner Stockton, center Drew Bobo and linebacker Raylen Wilson. It’s the second straight year Stockton has made the trip, fitting for a returning starter and one of the faces of the program heading into 2026.

Stockton’s presence is easy to understand after the season he just had. As Georgia’s starter, he threw for 2,894 yards with 24 touchdowns against just five interceptions while leading the Bulldogs to a second consecutive SEC championship. He added another dimension on the ground, too, piling up 462 rushing yards and 10 scores.

A few logistics for anyone planning to follow along: the event runs Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 23, and it’s being held at the Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott — the first time the SEC’s summer showcase has landed in Tampa. Every coach and a rotating group of players will speak across the four days, with live coverage on the SEC Network.

Once media days wrap, the countdown to real football begins. Georgia opens its 2026 season on Saturday, September 5, at home against Tennessee State at Sanford Stadium.
