Georgia’s 2026-27 SEC schedule is starting to take shape, and it front-loads Stegeman Coliseum with quality. The Bulldogs will host five 2026 NCAA Tournament teams at home, part of the league’s newly announced game locations and the three-schools-twice format for the coming men’s basketball season.

Georgia draws its usual home-and-home rivals in Florida and South Carolina, with Oklahoma added as the third team the Bulldogs play twice. Beyond those, six more SEC opponents visit Athens: Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Texas and Vanderbilt. The road slate sends Georgia to Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Tennessee, plus return trips to Gainesville, Columbia and Norman.

The schedule doesn’t lack for tests. Ten of Georgia’s 18 SEC games come against 2026 NCAA Tournament teams, split evenly between five at home and five on the road. Dates, tip times and TV assignments will come later.

The Bulldogs enter the season with momentum. Georgia reached the NCAA Tournament for a second straight year after a record-setting campaign, winning 22 regular-season games, the most in its 121 seasons, and posting its highest-ever scoring average at 89.4 points per game across a program-record 2,951 points.

Mike White’s roster blends six returnees with nine newcomers. The returning group features four starters: seniors Blue Cain and Marcus “Smurf” Millender, junior Kanon Catchings and sophomore Kareem Stagg, making Georgia one of only four power-conference teams to bring back a full quartet of season-ending starters. The nine first-year Bulldogs include five transfers and four freshmen. In all, Georgia’s slate features 18 regular-season home games, split between nine non-conference and nine SEC dates.
